Getting started: wallets, accounts, and networks

Goal: identify your network, account, and wallet before receiving or sending assets.

Before you begin

  • The repository lists HuFu Wallet as supporting FullOn. Find downloads on the official HuFu website. The product page remains a draft; store versions and the current interface were not reverified.
  • A wallet manages keys and requests signatures. An account is an on-chain identity and authorization subject. Installing a wallet does not automatically create an on-chain account.
  • Mainnet and testnet assets are separate. Identical account names do not mean identical chains.

Steps

  1. Install the wallet from its official entry point and follow its current create/import flow. If it requires an account-creation service, confirm supported networks and fees first. Free registration is not guaranteed.
  2. Back up recovery material as instructed and store it securely offline. Never give support staff, websites, or chatbots private keys, recovery phrases, or wallet passwords.
  3. Confirm the wallet network and record the full account name and public receiving information.
  4. Query the account in an explorer for the same network and check its name and assets. Flonscan is listed in the repository; verify its selected network.
  5. Make a small test transfer and follow the transaction-status guide.

Completion check

You can see the same account in the wallet and the correct network explorer, and identify the network, contract, and symbol of the asset you want to receive.

Recovery, social recovery, and permission changes depend on the actual account configuration. An account-type label alone does not guarantee recovery.
